Leticia G. Espinoza was born in Los Angeles, California. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science & Philosophy from the University of Southern California. In 1997, she earned her Juris Doctor degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Leticia's career began in law firms specializing in public and private sector employment litigation, civil and business litigation. She later moved into an in-house counsel position for a privately held corporation. Leticia is currently employed as Assistant General Counsel for Matrix Service Company, a publicly held holding company. Matrix provides engineering, construction and repair and maintenance services principally to the petroleum, petrochemical, power, bulk storage terminal, pipeline and industrial gas industries. Due to the diversity of the specialized market of Matrix, Ms. Espionza's experience and legal expertise has increased as a legal professional in a corporate venue. Stepping out of the law office and into the corporate arena has not only increased her current skills but substantially enhanced her expertise as a business minded attorney that assists with strategy and risk mitigation. She works closely with the top executives throughout the country and interationally, as well as engaging with Board members regarding SEC compliance issues and other corporate matters.
