Latina Lawyers Bar Association proudly announces
the next event in the Latinas in the Legal Profession Series

Latinas Take Hollywood

Actress Rita Moreno once famously said,
“I could do it all, but Hollywood still didn’t quite know what to do with me.”

Please join us in hearing from two Latinas working behind the scenes for major television networks, and with lives that read much like a television script. Glenda Martinez is Associate General Counsel at Univision, the leading media company serving Hispanic America. Rita Morales Patton is Assistant General Counsel for Turner Broadcasting, where she oversees the Cartoon Network Studios legal department.

Don’t miss this premiere evening and their unique stories of breaking into and succeeding in The Industry.

It is our goal at LLBA to create our own history by documenting the career trajectories of our members from the very first Latinas who integrated our law schools to those who are just entering our profession.

Please join us for some inspiration and perhaps some comic relief, as we share who we are and how we got here. We intend to digitally record our presentations so that we may preserve our unique contributions to the legal profession.
